Crosswords are frequently found in newspapers and magazines, with the earliest versions resembling the contemporary format gaining popularity through the New York World in the 1910s.

Various types of crosswords, such as cryptic crosswords and those tailored to specific languages, enjoy widespread popularity globally. In modern times, crossword construction typically utilizes software, where constructors select a theme (unless the puzzle is themeless), position the theme answers within a generally symmetrical grid, complete the remaining sections of the grid, and subsequently create the clues.

You win if you fill in all words and all answers is correct.

Conditions of loss

You lose if you don't guess all clues in 60min.

Also, you lose if you fill in all words, but you have at least one incorrect letter.
